Deep Listening

Sound is central to every Community Wellness Event. We use Crystal Tones™ Singing Bowls that produce rich, resonant tones designed to support deep nervous system regulation and meditative states. We also incorporate a variety of instruments such as Koshi chimes, sound pods, and rainsticks. Each one is thoughtfully chosen and layered with care to create a soundscape that feels immersive, calming, and deeply restorative.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Not at all. The expressive arts portion of our events is about process, not product. There's no right or wrong way to engage — participants are guided throughout and never pressured to perform or share their work. All you need to bring is an open mind.

  • A sound bath is an immersive listening experience where participants are guided through a sequence of live sound using instruments like crystal singing bowls, koshi chimes, sound pods, and rainsticks. The sounds are layered with intention to support nervous system regulation, deep relaxation, and a meditative state. You don't do anything — you simply receive it.

  • WellHaus provides all art materials — including collaging supplies, watercolour, acrylics, markers, fine liners, and pencil crayons — as well as all sound bath instruments. We do recommend wearing comfortable clothing, as part of the experience involves a restful, lying-down state during the sound bath portion. If we're coming to your workplace, you're also welcome to bring a yoga mat for added comfort during that time.

  • Community Wellness Events can accommodate groups of up to 30 people. If your team is larger than that, we're happy to have a conversation about what may fit your needs.

  • Community Wellness Events are offered in-person across the Greater Toronto Area. If you're located outside the GTA, get in touch at hello@wellhaus.net and we'd love to explore what might be possible for your team.

  • Sessions run approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the format and group size.

  • Events are co-facilitated by Danielle and Sabrine, the founders of WellHaus. Sabrine is a Registered Psychotherapist and Creative Arts Specialist who leads the expressive arts portion. Danielle is a Registered Psychotherapist and Immersive Sound Practitioner who guides the deep listening experience.

  • Community Wellness Events are designed to be supportive and restorative, but they are not a replacement for individual therapy. They offer a meaningful group experience rooted in therapeutic principles — a space to slow down, express, and regulate. If participants are interested in ongoing individual support, WellHaus offers that too through our Wellness Partnerships.

  • Yes — in fact, that's a core part of what we do. Community Wellness Events can be offered as a standalone team experience or as part of a broader workplace wellness strategy. They work well as end-of-year celebrations, team days, or recurring wellbeing touchpoints throughout the year.Item description
